Your website is built on several layers of technology, none of which you need to understand. Still, it helps to have some awareness of what these are.
HTML or Hypertext Markup Language is the foundation upon which all websites are built. When users access your website, it is HTML that your web server sends to their web browser.
Additional technologies such as CSS and PHP further extend the functionality of HTML.
To help better manage complex websites, most sites these days rely on a CMS or Content Management System. The most popular of these is WordPress which is what your site runs on.
To overcome some of the design limitations of WordPress and to add advanced features such as element animations, we add a final layer of technology known as pagebuilder software. We use the most popular and capable of these, Elementor Pro.
To manage your website, you will be working exclusively in Elementor Pro, which is what we cover in these tutorials.
In the sections that follow, you will see videos that walk through each step in the process. Below each video you’ll find the text from the video, along with screenshots showing specific steps. This may make it easier to find just the information you need, rather than have to watch the video over and over again.
